Crisp Addiction is a genre-blending acoustic trio from Worcestershire, known for weaving folk, blues, and alt-pop elements into a sound that’s as unpredictable as it is heartfelt. Formed in 2024, the band quickly gained traction with two EPs - Seasons and Flavours and Punishment and Forgiveness. Each one showing their instinctive ability to shift from intimate ballads to gritty, foot-tapping grooves.
At the core of their writing process is a natural creative chemistry. Jamie crafts the hooks and harmonic backbone, Emma brings the melody and emotional punch through her lyrics, and newest member Marley adds a fresh sonic dimension with his multi-instrumental versatility and eclectic influences. Together, they move fast...one track even went from first idea to full production in just 11 days.
Years of experience, bold experimentation, and a commitment to emotional honesty shape the Crisp Addiction sound. And with Marley now in the mix, their musical palette has expanded even further. As their following grows, so does their reach, because when you’re writing from instinct, heart, and a love of many genres, there’s something in the music for everyone.

ABOUT THE TRIO
Emma - Vocals & Songwriting
Emma’s been singing longer than she can remember - on swings, in stairwells, anywhere sound could stretch. Her voice is shaped by quiet moments and years spent in bands that came and went, but the songwriting always stayed. For Emma, lyrics aren’t written - they arrive. Her melodies carry warmth, ache, and just enough fire. Crisp Addiction gave her a place to let it all unfold, no holding back.
Jamie – Guitar & Music Composer
Jamie picked up a guitar as a kid and never really put it down. Self-taught, deeply instinctive, and forever chasing the perfect chord, his playing blends folk roots with experimental edges. Whether fingerpicking or layering loops, Jamie builds the bones of Crisp Addiction’s sound - and the soul of it, too. He’s the kind of guitarist who makes silence sound intentional.
Marley - Guitarist &
Multi-Instrumentalist
Marley has been a multi-instrumentalist since childhood, picking up guitar and piano in primary school before expanding into bass, synth, and ukulele throughout college and university. His influences range from the punchy energy of bands like Green Day to the expressive storytelling found in modern game and film soundtracks. Always experimenting, Marley’s ambition is to blend these inspirations into something entirely his own. A sound that’s fresh, distinctive, and impossible to box in.
